This year's yearling sales series provided vendors of Darley-sired yearlings some incredible highlights.

Most notably for Vinery Stud who sold a $2.1 million Exceed And Excel colt (Lot 5) at Inglis Easter to Tony Fung, and 50-odd lots later followed that up with another million-dollar result, again for an Exceed And Excel colt (Lot 63) and again to Tony Fung, this time for $1.05 million.

Two Darley-sired lots accounting for 30 per cent of Vinery's Inglis Easter draft total.

Seven consignors' top result at Inglis Premier was achieved from the sale of a Darley-sired yearling, including:

  1. Rosemont Stud's $350,000 for a Street Boss colt as Lot 361
  2. Merricks Station's $460,000 for a Lonhro colt as Lot 73
  3. Springmount's $420,000 for a Frosted filly as Lot 190
  4. Willaroon Thoroughbreds' $250,000 for a Lonhro colt as Lot 112

  6. Musk Creek Farm's $180,000 for a Lonhro filly as Lot 39
  7. Silverdale Farm's $180,000 for a Lonhro colt as Lot 119

Darley-sired yearlings were the second highest-priced lots for consignors Newhaven Park Stud ($150,000 for an Impending filly as Lot 641) and Woodside Park ($140,000 for a Lonhro colt as Lot 44).
