Night Dance has all the right moves

Street Sense filly becomes sire's eighth winner

Heavily favored Night Dance, by Street Sense, lengthened her lead at every call of her second career outing on October 19 at Hoosier Park in Indiana, extending her lead to a final margin of victory of six lengths at the end of the 1200m maiden special weight event.

Night Dance was bred by Liberation Farms and Oratis Thoroughbreds in Kentucky. She is out of Fly To The Stars, a half-sister to Stakes winners Resounder and Gallant Talent and to the granddam of G1 winners Bellamy Road and Midletown. Fly To The Stars also has a yearling of 2011 by Street Sense.

Kentucky Derby winner and Champion Street Sense is the sire of a total of eight winners so far from his first crop, a group that also features two Group horses, including G1 Frizette third Miss Netta.

Street Sense stands the southern hemisphere breeding season at Darley Kelvinside for $38,500 (inc GST).
