Logo Hunter clear winner in Listed Sole Power Sprint

Three-year-old son of Brazen Beau storms clear to land first Stakes win

Logo Hunter, a three-year-old son of Brazen Beau, rocketed clear to claim a first Stakes win in the Listed Sole Power Stakes over five-furlongs at Naas on Sunday, 16 May.

Racing prominently, the Irish-bred son hit the front a furlong out, surging clear from the chasing pack to win comfortably by four-and-a-half-lengths.

Bred by Mountarmstrong Stud, Logo Hunter is a half-brother to the Listed-winning and G3-placed six-furlong sprinter Darkanna as well as the G3 Prix de Cabourg second Kodyanna. They are out of the G2 Cherry Hinton Stakes placed Jadanna (Mujadil), a daughter of a winning Statue Of Liberty sister to G2 Mill Reef Stakes winner Galeota. They are siblings to the Listed-winning Loulwa, dam of dual Stakes-winning sprinter Justineo, and the dam G3 winners Burnt Sugar and Brown Sugar.

Logo Hunter is the 13th Stakes winner for Champion three-year-old Brazen Beau who has enjoyed success at the highest level this season with On The Bubbles taking the G1 Manawatu Sires Produce Stakes last month.

Brazen Beau will stand the coming season at Northwood Park, Victoria at a fee of $49,500 including GST.
