E Dubai filly Buy The Barrel increased her impressive winning record with a five-and-a-half length romp in the $100,000 Bayakoa Stakes over 1700m at Oaklawn Park in the US on April 9.
Out of the Drouilly mare Affordable Price, the consistent four-year-old was bred by Hinkle Farms in Kentucky. She is a half-sister to stakes winners Moore’s Flat, Lady Skywalker, Fishy Advice and Surf N Sand. Buy The Barrel has now won six from 15 career starts.
G2 winner Street Sounds, from the first crop of Street Cry, was in action on the same day at Keeneland and finished runner-up in the G2 Vinery Madison Stakes over 1400m. Bred in Ontario by Anderson Farms, this was the seasonal reappearance for the four-time winner, who landed the G2 Stonerside Beaumont Stakes at the same meeting last year.
Street Cry has four yearlings catalogued for the forthcoming Easter yearling sale (Classic session).
