Son of Reset celebrates first Stakes success

Mail It In romps home in Listed Birthday Cup at Morphettville

Mail It In, a son of Reset, scored his maiden Stakes success with a dominant four-length win in the Listed Birthday Cup at Morphettville on 18 February.

Restrained in the early stages to settle midfield by jockey Clare Lindop, Mail It In began to make his move turning for home. The four-year-old strode to the lead shortly after straightening and careered away for a dominant victory.

Bred by Southern Thoroughbreds Breeding Syndicate, Mail It In is a half-brother to G3 winner Daytona Grey.

Mail It In is the 31st Stakes winner for his sire Reset whose best progeny include G1 Caulfield Cup winner Fawkner, G1 Cox Plate heroine Pinker Pinker and last year’s G1 Epsom Handicap victor Hauraki.

Reset will be represented by 10 yearlings at the coming Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale which can be viewed by clicking here.
