Jumpin Judy much the best in Orleans Stakes at Delta Downs

Daughter of Street Boss has now won six straight races

Jumpin Judy vied for the lead early before taking command at the quarter pole and drawing off to post a three-and-a-half length victory in the $75,000 Orleans Stakes at Delta Downs on Friday, 5 January.

It was the first Stakes victory for the newly turned four-year-old daughter of Street Boss, who ran her winning streak to six straight races.

Jumpin Judy was bred in Kentucky by Donna Shively and is out of the winning Malibu Moon mare, Stage Direction. Second dam, Stage Luck, is a Stakes winning/G1 Stakes-placed daughter of Unbridled’s Song, and hails from the immediate family of multiple G1 Stakes winners, Golden Ballet and Drosselmeyer.

The sire of former champion Australian galloper Anamoe, Street Boss has sired over 880 winners worldwide of 2,569 races – including 67 Stakes winners of 138 Black-Type races. Street Boss spearheaded the stallion roster at Darley’s Northwood Park property in Victoria in 2023.
