Hot King Prawn sizzles in Hong Kong

Son of Denman makes all to land the G2 Premier Bowl Handicap

Denman’s star son Hot King Prawn maintained his upward progression on Sunday, 21 October, when landing the G2 Premier Bowl Handicap at Sha Tin. Going to the front straight from the stalls in the 1200m contest, he battled gamely in the straight to record his eighth victory in nine career starts.

Bred by Torryburn Stud, he is out of the dual winner De Chorus (Unbridled’s Song) and a half-brother to Group-winning filly Siren’s Fury.

A proven outcross stallion who was in the top-ten sires list in 2017/18, he has also sired this season the Stakes winner Ragged Rascal plus Group performers Muswellbrook, She Knows and Humma Humma. He is standing at a fee of $8.800 Inc GST.
