Hallowed Crown off the mark with Gold Coast win

Let’s Cheer Again brings up first win for Darley stallion

Darley stallion Hallowed Crown has got his stud career rolling with the breakthrough win of Let’s Cheer Again at the Gold Coast.

Showing brilliant speed and enough tenacity to suggest better victories could be in store, the two-year-old colt from his sire’s first crop to race scored by three lengths in the 900m 2YO Maiden.

The G1 winner in 2015 of the Randwick Guineas and Golden Rose, Hallowed Crown (Street Sense) has had only four to race in Australia.

Let’s Cheer Again is from the Exceed And Excel mare Excessively, a half-sister to the G2 winner Barbaricus.

The colt was purchased by Queensland trainer Stuart Kendrick for A$85,000 at last year’s Magic Millions Two-year-Olds in Training Sale from the Baramul Stud draft.
