Fourth winner for Reset

First-timer Reblaze salutes gamely at Kyneton for young stallion

Reset has made a great start to his stud career with Stakes winners Rebel Raider and Likefatherlikeson among his four individual winners in Australia. Reblaze became the latest of these when winning the 1118m maiden at Kyneton on his debut on Tuesday.

A $70,000 yearling purchase from Inglis’s Premier Sale, Reblaze is a grandson of Group One winner Alynda, who numbers four Stakes winners among her prolific offspring and this colt’s dam Centoria, from her mating with Centro.

Reset is also showing promise in the northern hemisphere where his three winners include the Listed winner Saxford, who has now notched a hat-trick of victories. Reset stands at Seymour in Victoria at a fee of $33,000.
