Five-time Stakes winner Disposition back to form in Western Australia

Reset gelding wins Listed Hannan’s Handicap

The all-round ability of Reset was on show in Western Australia when the tough and talented Disposition won the Listed Hannan’s Handicap at Kalgoorlie on Wednesday, 20 September.

Bred and raced by Western Australia’s most successful owners, Bob and Sandra Peters, Disposition burst through a wall of horses to win by three-quarters of a length.

The six-year-old gelding, whose prize money is just shy of A$1 million is a five-time Stakes winner, with his best performance to date coming in the G3 Guvera Stakes over 1400m at Flemington.

As a racehorse Reset was unbeaten in his five starts, his wins including the G1 Australian Guineas and the G1 Futurity Stakes.

At stud, he has built an impressive record with his five G1 winners having taken out some of Australia’s best races including the G1 Cox Plate with Pinker Pinker and the G1 Caulfield Cup with Fawkner.

Reset stands at Northwood Park for a fee of $16,500 inc GST.
