A sire who requires little introduction on the Australian racing and breeding scene, the son of Danehill has created a name for himself as the most successful sire of juvenile Stakes winners at stud. A feat he continued in 2019 siring the winners of the G1 Sires’ Produce, G1 Golden Rose and G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes.

On the racetrack:

  • 1,423 winners for $186,804,213 in the prizemoney.
  • 14 winners at G1 level.
  • 165 Stakes winners, more than any other stallion on the Australian General Sires’ Table by Stakes winners in 2018/19.
  • 20 sire sons at stud.
  • Finished fifth equal to Fastnet Rock by the number of Stakes winners on the Australian General Sires’ Table in 2018/19.

  • Lot 39 (colt): out of G3 winner Whistling Dixie, this chestnut is bred and will be offered by Segenhoe Stud on Wednesday, 5 January.
  • Lot 572 (colt): another bred and offered colt from the Segenhoe draft out of My Chicharita, a winner at G2 level.
  • Lot 631 (filly): from G1 winner Perfect Fit, this filly will be offered by Mike and Kate Fleming's Scone-based, Bhima Thoroughbreds on day three.
