Mares carrying to nine-time G1 winner Anamoe were among the standout results at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale, headlined by the $1.4 million sale of G1 winner Startantes to David Redvers Bloodstock and Widden Stud.
Offered as Lot 676, the daughter of Star Turn was one of six mares in foal to Anamoe to sell during the session, with the group realising more than $3.3 million combined.
Another major result came when Viviane, a daughter of Written Tycoon, sold to Newgate Bloodstock for $825,000.
Satin Love realised $400,000 to Paul Willetts Bloodstock, while Magical Elegance sold to Grenville Stud for $340,000. The Way We Were was purchased by Alma Vale Thoroughbreds for $240,000, with Rainbow Goddess adding further depth to the results when selling to David Lanigan for $160,000.
The strong broodmare sale results continue the commercial momentum behind Anamoe, whose first yearlings made history earlier this year when they achieved the highest average for a first-season sire at an Australian yearling sale. 💥 $1.4 million for G1 winner Startantes carrying to Champion #Anamoe.
