All systems go for the new season

Darley’s shuttle stallions arrive safely at Kelvinside and Northwood Park

Darley’s 16 shuttle stallions have successfully completed quarantine and have all now safely arrived at their respective farms ready for the upcoming breeding season.

Standing at Kelvinside this season are newcomers Authorized (pictured)– the outstanding G1-winning juvenile and Derby winner; last year’s Champion first-season sire in Europe Kheleyf, and European Champion two-year-old and dual G1 winner Teofilo.

They are joined by regular shuttlers from the United States Bernardini and Henny Hughes, whose first northern hemisphere yearlings are currently setting the sales alight; Champion two-year-old Ad Valorem; Europe’s current leading first-season sire Dubawi; Shamardal who enjoyed an outstanding season with his first crop of Australian runners; plus the exceptional Street Cry who returns to Australia this year together with his brilliant son Street Sense.

New to Northwood Park this year are European Champion two-year-old and the world’s highest rated horse of 2008, New Approach; and Street Cry’s record-breaking multiple G1-winning sprinter Street Boss. They will stand alongside Any Given Saturday and Hard Spun, whose first southern hemisphere foals are now arriving and have already received rave reviews from breeders.
