Voynichese became the latest Stakes winner for Pinatubo when she captured the Listed Show A Heart Stakes (1,500m) at Eagle Farm on Saturday, June 6.
Stepping up in distance at just her third start, the two-year-old filly travelled strongly before taking control at the 200m mark and extending her advantage to score by 1.24 lengths in 1:30.76.
Trained by Nick Olive and ridden by Declan Bates, Voynichese has now won two of her three starts, having broken her maiden at Canberra at her previous outing.
"We've had an opinion of this filly for a long time," Olive said.
"She's only little, but she just feels so progressive. I was really looking forward to getting her over more of a distance, so it's great to see her finish off the way she did."
Bred by Canning Downs Stud, Voynichese was purchased by Olive for $30,000 from the 2025 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale and has already returned several times her purchase price.
From the Redoute's Choice mare Great Mystery, Voynichese descends from the family of Queensland Oaks winners and becomes another promising performer from the first Australian crop of Pinatubo.
The unbeaten European Champion Two-Year-Old continues to make an encouraging start to his stud career in Australia, with Voynichese joining Group performers Zambales, Tales Of Time and Hardanger among his early runners.
