Who Took the Money takes it to the bank in the Scott’s Scoundrel Stakes at Fair Grounds

Street Boss gelding rallies from far back tally his third consecutive Stakes win

Who Took the Money rocketed past rivals in the stretch on his way to claiming victory in the Scott’s Scoundrel Stakes at Fair Grounds on Saturday, 19 November.

It was the third straight Stakes victory for the four-year-old Street Boss gelding, following his wins in the Gold Cup at Delta Downs and the EVD Classic at Evangeline Downs.

Settled far off the pace early while racing in the clear on the outside, Who Took the Money began to make up ground on the leaders on the far turn. He was forced to race almost six-wide as the field hit the top of the stretch, but that wasn’t a problem for the gelding as he proceeded to hit another gear as he rocketed past his rivals in the final furlong to win going away.

Bred in Louisiana by his owner Allied Racing Stable LLC, Who Took the Money is one of three winning runners out of Speights’ Colony, by Speightstown. The gelding hails from the female family of multiple Stakes winner Ms. Aerosmith and Graded Stakes winner Illiquidity

Street Boss is the sire of over 60 Stakes winners worldwide, including G1 Cox Plate hero Anamoe, who has now won seven G1 Stakes races.

Street Boss stands at Darley’s Kelvinside property in the NSW Hunter Valley for a service fee of $77,000, including GST.
