Third winner for Ad Valorem

Pale salutes at Canberra to become the latest winner for Ad Valorem

Danzig’s G1-winning son Ad Valorem today continued his impressive start to his southern hemisphere career when Pale became his third individual-winner in the Content Group 2yo Handicap over 1200m at Canberra.

Settling on the rail just off the pace,  the Guy Walter-trained two-year-old colt eased through a gap at the 200m mark and went on to win by one-and-a-half lengths.

Pale now joins the impressive Uate, recent winner the G3 Skyline Stakes and Tax Evader as winning flag bearers for their sire.

Ad Valorem has recorded three winners from nine starters in the southern hemisphere, while in the northern hemisphere his performers included Stakes winner Samaden, Stakes performer Rigolletto and the three-time winners Alabama Song and Revine
