Third Saturday

Any Given Saturday sires his third winner in Brother Pat

Millionaire Any Given Saturday sired his third winner August 13 in a Calder maiden race as Brother Pat nabbed an easy win in his first start. During the one mile race, the two-year-old colt positioned off the pace toward the rear. Coming into the stretch Brother Pat traveled wide in a sweeping move to dominate in the stretch for the win.

Bred in Kentucky by Jack Swain, Brother Pat is the first foal out of the Tiznow mare Anyhow. Anyhow is a half-sister to G3 winner Mythical Gem, Graded-placed Apple Charlotte, and Stakes-placed runners Multitudinous and Claremont.

A son of Distorted Humor, Any Given Saturday's first foals are hitting the track in 2011. During Any Given Saturday's racing career his most notable win was the G1 Haskell Invitational, in which he defeated Curlin. His first two books included 123 Stakes winners/producers. He has also been represented by two-year-old winners Ittasal in England and Saturday Launch at Ellis Park. Any Given Saturday stands at Northwood Park for a fee of $13,750 (inc. GST).
