Tenth winner for Teofilo

Al Mahmeyah lands fillies’ maiden

The May-foaled Al Mahmeyah became the tenth winner for her first-season sire Teofilo when getting off the mark at Kempton, UK, over 1200m on September 2.

Trained by Richard Hannon, the filly was bred by Windymains Farm Ltd and is a daughter of the Indian Ridge mare Aguilas Pearl.

A European Champion juvenile himself, Teofilo is also the sire of G3 winner Remember Alexander and Listed winner Teolane, plus the G2-placed Parish Hall, who is rated 108 by Timeform.

Teofilo is currently standing at Darley Kelvinside at a fee of $22,000 (inc GST).
