Second Stakes win for son of Too Darn Hot

Alyanaabi lands the Listed Spring Trophy at Haydock

Alyanaabi, a son of Too Darn Hot, landed his second Stakes race on Saturday, 10 May when making all the running the Listed Spring Trophy. A G3-winning juvenile before placing in the G1 Dewhust, he was never challenged to record a one-and-a-quarter length victory on his four-year-old seasonal debut.

Owned and bred by Shadwell Stud, Alyanaabi is out of the unraced Kitten’s Joy mare Alyanmaama, a half-sister to 1,000 Guineas and Coronation Stakes heroine Ghanaati. Alyanmaama also has a filly foal by Too Darn Hot.

Too Darn Hot has sired 24 individual Stakes winners including three that have won at the highest level. From his European crops he has had Fallen Angel and Hotazhell, plus the four-time G1 winner Broadsiding in Australia.
