Order Again claims maiden Black-type victory

Son of Iffraaj triumphs in the G3 Grand Prix Stakes

Iffraaj's promising three-year-old son Order Again held on to claim a narrow victory in the G3 Grand Prix Stakes over 2200m at Eagle Farm on 27 May, earning his third win from eight starts and first at Stakes level.

The Brian Smith-trained gelding jumped well and travelled comfortably midfield before showing a superb turn of foot at the top of the straight, charging home to find the line a nose ahead of tough contender Volatile Mix.

Bred by C E J & C J W Stewart, Order Again is out of winning mare Glass Half Full who is a half-sister to G2 winner Jetset Lad.

Order Again becomes the twenty-fourth Group winner for Iffraaj, who has sired four individual G1 winners this year alone, including Classic victors Gingernuts and Jon Snow as well as his most recent star, G1 Lockinge Stakes hero Ribchester in the Northern Hemisphere.

Iffraaj stands this coming breeding season at Haunui Stud, NZ, for a fee of NZ$25,000.
