New winner for Dawn Approach

Perfect Thought wins impressively at Newmarket

First-season sire Dawn Approach added a new winner to his record in fine style on Saturday, 4 November when his daughter Perfect Thought ran out the ready winner of the 1600m Novice at Newmarket.

Making all under Richard Kingscote, the William Haggas-trained filly was asked to quicken 200m out and kept on well to win by three quarters of a length.

Perfect Thought is out of the Stakes-placed Dansili mare Masaya, who has now produced four winners. She is from the family of G1 winner Satwa Queen.

Dawn Approach has sired no fewer than four Stakes-performing juveniles this year, including G2 filly Mary Tudor and G3 duo Dawn Delivers and Fast Approach.
