Blue Point registered a remarkable 50th individual winner on Tuesday 28 November when his daughter Word’s Out won at the second time of asking over 1300m at Deauville in France. Word’s Out showed an electric turn of foot to get up late on, with fellow Blue Point filly Tazara taking second to complete a 1-2 for their sire.
The Godolphin homebred, trained by Andre Fabre, is out of Dubawi mare Voice Of Truth, making her a half-sister to dual Group winner Eternal Hope, last seen winning the G2 Sands Point Stakes in the USA last month.
50 individual winners marks yet another milestone for Europe’s leading first-season sire, who became the first sire since Sadler’s Wells to produce two G1-winning juveniles in his first crop, after Rosallion’s record-breaking victory in the Prix Jean-Luc Lagadere and Big Evs’ win in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint.
