My Due Process rolls in Monmouth Park NATC Futurity

Second two-year-old Stakes winner for Henny Hughes this year

My Due Process, a two-year-old filly byHenny Hughes, became her sire's second juvenile Stakes winner this year with a decisive score in the Monmouth Park NATC Futurity. She is the newest Stakes winner for the sophomore sire.

The daughter of Henny Hughes showed early speed from the gate furing the six furlong race. Positioned on the rail, the filly maintained the lead through out and extended herself in the stretch for a dominating win.

My Due Process is out of the Stakes-placed Crafty Prospector mare Easy Action, who has already produced G2-placed Kong's Revenge and Stakes-placed Bellissima Luna. Easy Action is a half-sister to G3 winner Itty Bitty Pretty and Stakes winner Greeley's Conquest. She was bred by Gulf Coast Farms, LLC.

Henny Hughes is the sire of nine Stakes horses from his first two crops of runners. His most recent black type winner was two-year-old She Digs Me, a multiple Stakes winner who scored in the G3 Sapling Stakes at Monmouth. He has also sired G3 winner Henny Hound, among others. Henny Hughes was a record-breaking World Champion Sprinter. Henny Hughes stands this season for $16,500 (inc. GST) at Kelvinside, NSW.
