$1.85 million-dollar offering leads the charge for Darley sires

Less than 24 hours after daughter Gabby’s Golden Gal brought $1.25 million at Fasig-Tipton’s November sale, Medaglia d’Oro was in the spotlight again as the multiple G1-winning mare, Society Selection, sold in-foal to him for a price of $1.85 million, the session's highest-priced offering on the first day of Keeneland November. The listed Stakes winner Lindelaan, a full sister to G3 winner Classic Campaign, also sold in foal to Medaglia d’Oro with Waratah Thoroughbreds Pty. Ltd signing the ticket for $625,000.

A Street Sense weanling colt, who is a half-brother to Stakes winner Banga Ridge and G1-placed Coronet of Baron, brought $450,000 for new owner Shadwell Estate Company, Ltd. This is also the family of Bernardini’s G1 winner A Z Warrior.
