Limonar wins the Listed Prix Coronation

Street Cry filly is her sire's 53rd Black-type winner

The three-year-old filly Limonar, by Darley stallion Street Cry, won the Prix Coronation at Saint-Cloud in France on Thursday, September, 22. The Carlos Laffon-Parias trained made all the running and proved too strong in the straight going clear from her rivals over the 1600m on a good track.

Bred and owned by Darpat France, Limonar is out of the Diesis mare Trylko. The same cross with a Diesis mare also produced the Listed winner Brevity. The winner’s dam is a half-sister the G1 Irish Two Thousand winner Bachelor Duke.

Street Cry has total of 88 Black-type horses, including Horse of the Year Zenyatta, champion and Kentucky Derby winner Street Sense and multiple G1 winner and record-breaker Street Boss. Street Cry currently stands at Darley Kelvinisde for a fee of $110,000 (inc GST).
