Graceful Anna lands G3 Vo Rogue Stakes

Talented daughter of Canny Lad remains on target for the $1 million Magic Millions Trophy

Graceful Anna, an exciting daughter of Darley stallion Canny Lad, recorded her first Stakes win and extended her winning run to four, landing the G3 Vo Rogue Stakes at Doomben on 26 December.

The progressive filly, who is trained by David Pfeiffer, took the lead in the straight and battled well against favourite Shoot Out to take the 1350m contest by a short head. She will now head to the Gold Coast for the $1 million Magic Millions 3YO Trophy.

Bred by Woodlands Stud, Graceful Anna is the first winner out of the Grand Lodge mare Lamellar, a half-sister to Black type winner Catriona and from the family of G1 winner Star Watch.
