Capo Bastone cruises to become 7th winner for Street Boss

Colt wins on debut at Del Mar

Street Boss sired his seventh winner in impressive fashion August 4 as Capo Bastone won on debut in a Del Mar Maiden Special Weight. In the five and one-half furlong race Capo Bastone settled towards the back of the pack. The colt was steadily gaining ground throughout the race, then cruised in the stretch on the outside past competitors to take the victory.

Capo Castone is out of the Stakes-placed mare Fight To Love, by Fit To Fight. He is a half-brother to multiple Graded-placed C J's Leelee. The colt was bred by Hargus Sexton, Sandra Sexton, Tom Bozarth & Silver Fern Farm, LLC.

Street Boss currently leads the US First Crop sires, with undefeated Stakes winner Bosco and Sheistheboss, who placed in the Prix Six Perfections at Deauville. On July 30 his daughter Top Tier Lass impressed by a strong eight lengths at Saratoga. A G1-winning son of Street Cry, Street Boss is also the leading freshman sire of 2012 by sales average in North America, with prices up to $825,000.
