Bossy Moment powers to victory in the Donna Reed Stakes at Prairie Meadows

Daughter of Street Boss draws off late to notch her second Stakes win

Bossy Moment overtook favorite Kela’s Turn in the stretch before pulling away late to post a two-length victory in the Donna Reed Stakes at Prairie Meadows on Saturday, 1 October.

It was the second Stakes win for the four-year-old daughter of Street Boss, who has now finished in-the-money in 13 of 21 career starts.

Bred in Iowa by H. Allen Poindexter, Bossy Moment is out of Careless Moment, a winning daughter of Successful Appeal. Careless Moment is a half-sister to Killybegs Captain, winner of the G3 Frank J. De Francis Memorial Dash and placed in the G1 Forego Stakes.

Street Boss is the sire of 61 Stakes winners worldwide, including Australian Champion and five-time G1 winner, Anamoe.
