Cielo Canaries wins the Listed Premio Gobierno Vasco

Exceed And Excel’s son Cielo Canaries won his second career Stakes victory on Sunday 23 August when landing the Listed Premio Gobierno Vasco at San Sebastian in Spain. With today’s victory in the mile contest, Cielo Canaries has now won twelve races with career earnings in excess of €200,000.

Bred in Ireland by A Osburg, Ceilo Canaries is a son of the winning Sadler’s Wells mare Summer Dance, a half-sister to Group winning Poet and from the family of G1 winners France, Bella Colora and Stagecraft.

Exceed And Excel has now sired 43 Stakes performers in 2015 including G1 Goodwood Handicap hero Flamberge, top European juvenile Buratino and six further Group winners.
