Sea Lord remains unbeaten at the Valley

Street Cry gelding records his third Stakes win, taking out the G2 Australia Stakes

Having his fourth start at the track, Street Cry gelding Sea Lord maintained his perfect winning strike rate, taking out the G2 Australia Stakes over 1200m at Moonee Valley, defeating the unlucky Lonhro gelding Pinwheel by a length-and-a-quarter on 25 January.

A winner of two Listed events earlier in his career, the G2 victory took his career earnings past the $500,000 mark from seven race victories.

Bred by Mr P Newman, Sea Lord is out of the Dream Well mare Dream Lass, a half-sister to G2 winners Joey Massino and Vigor as well as the Listed winner Vincent Mangano.

One of 58 international Stakes winner, Street Cry has been represented by an astonishing 13 G1 winners, including Shocking, Whobegotyou, Zenyatta as well as the Darley stallions Street Sense and Street Boss.

As we head towards the Inglis Premier yearling sale in March, Street Cry will be represented by three yearlings before we head to the Inglis Easter yearling sale in April, where the international sire sensation has 15 yearlings catalogued highlighted by lot 30, the first foal from the New Zealand-bred, American G1 winner Black Mamba.
