Darley acquires a 50 per cent stake in G1 winner Hallowed Crown

Darley in Australia is pleased to announce it has acquired a 50 per cent stake in Hallowed Crown, winner of last month’s G1 Golden Rose.

Henry Plumptre, Darley’s Managing Director in Australia said, “We are delighted to secure a share in Hallowed Crown, particularly as he is a grandson of our champion stallion Street Cry. Hallowed Crown has proven himself as one of Australia’s best young colts and we look forward to racing him on with Mr Cojuangco’s Gooree Park Stud in the autumn, and him joining our stallion roster at the end of his racing career.”

Gooree Park Stud’s Racing Manager Monica B. Cummings said, “It is an honour for us at Gooree Park Stud to be entering into a partnership with a worldwide industry leader in Darley. Mr Eduardo Cojuangco has a lot of admiration for the work of HH Sheikh Mohammed and is looking forward to the future racing of Hallowed Crown in this new arrangement.”

Hallowed Crown will remain in training with Bart and James Cummings and will continue to race in the red and black colours of Gooree Park.
