Lonhro gelding proves too good

Good Sight becomes the 39th Stakes winner for his sire

Lonhro gelding Good Sight became the 39th Stakes winner for his sire when he proved too strong in the Listed Piala Emas Sultan Selangor over 2000m in Malaysia, June 16.

Ridden by Australian jockey Noel Callow, Good Sight finished powerfully in the straight to record a two-and-three-quarter length victory.

Bred by International Thoroughbreds Bloodstock Investments, Good Sight is a full-brother to multiple Stakes winner Sainthood. Out of city-winning Anabaa mare Bonne Famille, Good Sight is the third Stakes horse Lonhro has produced out of an Anabaa mare from just 10 runners.

The sire of Darley stallions Denman and Benfica, as well as Champion Two-year-old Pierro, Lonhro is enjoying another stellar season on the track and will stand the coming breeding season at Kelvinside at a fee of $88,000 inc. GST.
